New look Longford Yearbook hits the shelves across the county this week
The Longford Yearbook 2024 featuring interviews, photos and a round-up of the news over the last 12 months is on the shop shelves across Co Longford right now.
Produced by the Longford Leader / Longford Live team, this is a very special Longford Yearbook, packed full of interviews, stories and photographs that showcase the highlights of 2024 across the county.
It has been a busy year with so much happening in the county from the Longford Lights Festival, County Longford Ploughing Championships and the Longford and Granard Agricultural Shows.
It has been a year of big milestones for Longford communities with Moyne Community School celebrating fifty years of inspiring students; Longford Town Football Club marked their Centenary in style, swimmer Darragh Greene became a double Olympian and Longford minors captured Leinster Championship success.
The Longford Yearbook 2024 takes a look back at these important events and also features interviews with Longford business people who are battling back following a devastating fire that ripped through the heart of the town.
Shane Crossan reflects on an incredible year for the arts and this is an interview with Cian's Kennels founder Evelyn Neary who was chosen as National Lottery Good Causes Hero of the Year award winner.
You’ll also find plenty in the Longford Yearbook to get you in the festive mood with delicious seasonal recipes and our roundup of Christmas events happening across the county.
