Longford GAA to host Gathering Day

Plans for this year’s Gathering initiative will see a sporting celebration take place in Longford next month.

Local GAA officials are getting set to host a ‘Gathering Day’ on Sunday May 5, the highlights of which include a 5k walk and run, a senior Inter County challenge match attended by the Leinster GAA Roadshow as well as a number of games for children throughout the course of the day.

A gathering of Longford Gaels past and present in the Backstage Theatre is similarly planned with donations kindly accepted by visiting http://tinyurl.com/c4lzox8. Participants in the 5k walk/run are asked to phone 0879126556 or email [email protected]
