Prestigious award for Longford’s Glennon Brothers received in London

Glennon Brothers has won the ‘Softwood Trader: Sawmiller of the Year’ Award for a sixth time, one of the Timber Trade Journal’s most coveted awards.


The TTJ Awards are widely seen as the most prestigious in the timber sector and were held at the Hilton Bankside Hotel in London.


In this the 152nd Year of the TTJ, the Award was once again open to companies across Europe, the UK and Ireland, to vote for their choice of ‘Best in Class’ timber supplier.

Mike Glennon said; “We are delighted to win the prestigious TTJ award for Timber Trader; Sawmiller of the Year 2025, despite once again being up against an exceptionally strong list of fellow nominees. To follow up on our success of previously winning it five times between 2019 to 2023 in the same category, it is fantastic to regain the award again in 2025 and I’d like to sincerely thank our customers for voting for Glennon Brothers, and for their continued support and faith in us.
