Fresh from the Longford firm’s lead role at Bank of Ireland’s Enterprise Week last month, joint managing directors Mike and Pat Glennon were in Turkey recently to pick up yet another business accolade.

This time Glennon Brothers secured the prestigious Ruban d’Honneur medal at a Gala Dinner in Istanbul, Turkey in recognition of the timber company’s renowned export strategy.

The award, focusing largely on innovation, dynamism and high levels of customer focus, follows on from a previous award in November 2012 in which Glennon’s were crowned Irish National Champion.

“We are delighted that Glennon Brothers has been selected, among some of Europe’s leading companies as a recipient of a prestigious Ruban d’Honneur.

“We are thrilled to receive this recognition in our centenary year. We would especially like to thank our very loyal customers who have placed their faith in us and who have supported us through the highs and lows of our sector,” said a delighted Mike Glennon.

“The award is testament to our dedicated, hard working, and fabulous team of people in Longford, Fermoy, Arklow, Troon, and Edinburgh, that make up Glennon Brothers today.”
