Meeting on wind energy

At a recent public awareness meeting organised by the Legan Ballycloughan Wind Turbine Awareness group, up to 100 people heard a number of speakers raising concerns about the proposed development of 2,500 industrial wind turbines across the midlands region.

“The more we found out over the last couple of months, the more we realise that wind farms are complete folly,” Edel Kelly, PRO stated.
