From Think Languages Week to Under 16s GAA, plenty has been happening

Think Languages Week 2025
This week Mercy Ballymahon celebrated Think Languages Week, a nationwide initiative to promote the learning and use of languages. Throughout the week, students in 1st, 2nd, TY, and ASD classes took part in a wide range of fun language-filled online workshops, a nationwide quiz, language taster presentations from our Transition Year students, world cuisine and much more. Not only did students have the opportunity to learn new things about different languages and cultures, but they also received an insight into the various opportunities that languages have to offer after school. A big thank you to Ms Keegan and the MFL Department for organising the event.
