Together for more than five years, Jamie Parker (Edgeworthstown) and Danielle Reilly (Finea, Co Cavan) are drift racing fanatics who met at a local car show.

Though Danielle is the organiser in their lives, the couple decided to swap roles for the biggest day of their lives, leaving Jamie to do all the planning for their wedding and reception, which they celebrated with guests in the Rustic Inn, Abbeyshrule.

Loving all things girly and having spent more than two years searching through bridal magazines for inspiration, Danielle has always dreamed of the perfect Cinderella wedding. However, it’s Jamie’s job to organise the entire day on a €10,000 budget. On the contrary, Jamie is a practical joker at heart and loves nothing more than winding up his future bride and mother-in-law.

A secret Country & Western fan, Jamie has a list of surprises up his sleeve and calls in some favours from Country & Western royalty, but will he pull it all off in time for his princess bride?

To see how Jamie’s plans fared, tune in to RTÉ 2 at 9pm this Thursday, February 26.
