Engage issues open call

The closing date for Engage Longford's open call for submissions is April 24.
Following on from their highly successful exhibition last year, Engage Longford are welcoming submissions for exhibitions in the Gallery for the 2014/2015 programme.

Following on from their highly successful exhibition last year, Engage Longford are welcoming submissions for exhibitions in the Gallery for the 2014/2015 programme.

The local group is seeking submissions for all disciplines, including fine art, photography, printmaking, multimedia, craft and sculpture and installation work. Submissions for solo and group exhibitions are also welcome.

Artists who wish to make a submission should send in their CV along with an exhibition proposal (maximum 200 words) and current contact details .

Samples of work on a CD or DVD must also be submitted, using no more than ten high res images. Furthermore, details must be given regarding the medium, size and technical requirements.

Submissions should be emailed to engagelongfordsubmissions@gmail.com, or posted to 14 Richmond Street, Longford marked’ Engage Submission’ before April 24. All submissions will be assessed by a selection panel.

Engage Longford will open their second event on March 22 at 8pm, when Fabulous Beast Dance Theatre present a drum and dance piece at the Engage exhibition space, formerly Provider’s, on Main Street in Longford.
