Singing ‘Travelin’ Solider’ by the Dixie Chicks, Claire Devine (30) was taking part in the popular country n’ western talent show which features nine of Ireland’s best up and coming performers. Charlie McGhettigan, one of the judges on the show, said a “new star is born” following Claire’s performance.

Claire’s ability to sing comes from her father, Frankie Devine, who is well known on the entertainment circuit in Northern Ireland. Claire, herself, works full-time with Padraig Loughrey’s pharmacy in Drumlish.

Mentored by Mick Flavin, Claire will feature once again on the show on October 19. To vote for Claire to win Glór Tíre text ‘glor6’ to #53307 (Republic of Ireland) and #81108 (Northern Ireland). Voting lines are open until November 30.
