Table quiz

A table quiz will take place in JV’s Lounge on Friday, February 7 commencing at 8.30pm. Proceeds will go to Granard Community Childcare Facility.

Ballyleague Village Renewal and Tidy Towns will stage their annual table quiz on the same night in St Faithleach’s clubhouse at 9.30pm.

Exhibitions

On Friday, February 7, Solas Gallery in Ballinamore opens its first in the year’s solo and group exhibitions. ‘Sea Change’ by John Gunning and ‘Works in Colour – Picking up the pieces’ by Anja Nohlen will be opened at 7.30pm by Jennifer Richardson.

GAA

There will be a presentation night and social in the Mostrim Arms on Saturday, February 8 at 9.30pm for Mostrim GAA.

Jezebel

Backstage Theatre will host Rough Magic Theatre Company’s production of ‘Jezebel’ on February 7 and 8.

Backstage

The Fureys and Davey Arthur will make their 10th concert appearance at the Backstage Theatre on Sunday, February 9.

Drama

Drama returns to Gowna Community Hall on Sunday, February 9 at 8pm with John McManus’ new play ‘A Lock of Fierce Roars’. The play will also be performed in the Breffni Arms Hotel, Arva on Saturday, February 22, with proceeds going to Saint Christopher’s Hospice, Cavan.

Coffee morning

A coffee morning and cake sale will take place on Sunday, February 9 following 11am Mass in St Brigid’s Community Centre.
