The 39 Steps in Ballymahon

The Bog Lane Theatre presents the farcical ‘The 39 Steps’ in Ballymahon. This version of the production is adapted from the 1915 novel by John Buchan and the 1935 film by Alfred Hitchcock.

The Bog Lane Theatre presents the farcical ‘The 39 Steps’ in Ballymahon. This version of the production is adapted from the 1915 novel by John Buchan and the 1935 film by Alfred Hitchcock.

Directed by local director Norman White, the script involves an escape from a train, a chase across the Scottish Highlands, and crashing planes – all executed with the use of minimal props and four actors.

The play, which started last Monday (March 19), will run until March 24 (inclusive). Curtains will be at 8.15pm sharp nightly and bookings can be made by calling 087 9971306 or email: TheBogLaneTheatre@gmail.com. Tickets are €12 adults / €10 concessions and the play is suitable for all ages.
