The legendary Delorentos have been signed for the main stage of Helium 2012.
The band, who released their third album ‘Little Sparks’ earlier this year, are well known for their love of the Irish language. They have released several songs in Irish and English and will be joined by other well known faces such as Ash, Duke Special, The Kanyu Tree, and the Peter Doran Band. In further news for Helium Festival fans, another Main Stage act has been confirmed on the bill. In an Irish debut ‘Nathan ‘Flutebox’ Lee and The Clinic’ will be wowing the crowd with an amazing fusion of hip hop, dubstep and drum and bass beats using his dynamic trademark “fluteboxing” – simultaneously playing the flute whilst beat boxing. Described by Huey from the Fun Lovin’ Criminals as “Doing to the flute what Jimi Hendrix did to the guitar”; Nathan Flutebox Lee has established himself as a 21st century pioneer of his art form alongside the members of his band The Clinic. Helium revelers will also be treated to the musical skills and stylings of band members Human Beatbox WanDan and Flautist ‘Biscuit’. http://flutebox.tv/
