Padraic McIntyre is set to return to the Backstage Theatre this weekend with Marie Jonesâ€™ smash hit comedy â€˜A Night in Novemberâ€™.
From the author of â€˜Stones in His Pocketsâ€™, the play follows Ulster Protestant, Kenneth McCallister, played by Padraic McIntyre.
Kenneth, a protestant dole clerk on a search for his own identity, finds himself on the football terraces for a crucial Northern Ireland v Republic of Ireland World Cup qualifying match.
Little does he know that his hum-drum life is about to change forever.
Marie Jonesâ€™ passionate and hilarious one-man show, â€˜A Night in Novemberâ€™, has enjoyed productions all over the world, including the West End and a successful six-month run off-Broadway.
â€˜A Night in Novemberâ€™ comes to the Backstage Theatre, Longford on Saturday, May 10.
