The countdown is now well and truly on for Backstage Youth Theatre’s 2014 production ‘Happily Ever After?’

With rehearsals and preparations in full swing, tickets to the six performances at the Backstage Theatre are selling out fast!

An annual event for the group, this year’s panto is shaping up to be the best one yet, as the youths themselves continue to take a hands-on approach.

Written by and starring members of the group, ‘Happily Ever After?’ leaves a lot of questions to be answered. Is Snow White really a horrible boss? Are the dwarves actually going to go on strike? Has Red Riding Hoody been framed for the murder of her granny? Will Prince Charming TD get Senator Sleeping Beauty to stay awake long enough to propose to her? Who exactly is Daz, the fashionista mer-man who can’t stop speaking in fish-puns? And, the biggest question of them all, will everyone live ‘Happily Ever After’?

A great night for all the family is guaranteed!

The curtain will go up on this year’s production on Friday night, January 24 at 8pm. The show will continue until Saturday, February 1.

Tickets can be purchased from Farrell Coy or the Backstage Theatre. For more information, visit
