Award-winning American country singer for the Tally Ho

American country singer and songwriter Terri Sharp will be stopping by the Tally Ho bar on New Street in Longford next Thursday, April 11 for an intimate performance.

American country singer and songwriter Terri Sharp will be stopping by the Tally Ho bar on New Street in Longford next Thursday, April 11 for an intimate performance.

Terri, who was born in Houston, Texas was awarded a gold record for the song ‘Wild Streak’, which she co-wrote with Hank Williams Jr. She has also written songs for her friend and collaborator, Don McLean, and in his 2007 biography, Terri was referred to as “one of the most talented songwriters on the Nashville scene.”

Support on the night will come from local performer, Mary O’Brien. Terri’s appearance comes ahead of the Tally Ho’s Trad Festival weekend, which takes starts next Friday, April 12 and continues through until Sunday, April 13.
