‘The Declan Diaries’ is a romance with a twist – it is ‘written’ by the main character’s dog, Declan, who narrates the story from his own unique perspective.

Gill, who runs the multi-award winning business Wordhouse Writing Services, said: “‘The Declan Diaries’ is the project closest to my heart, as Declan (Deccy) the Dalmatian really did exist as my best friend and companion until his death in 2012. A lot of the action is at Irish Kennel Club championship dog shows where I have competed successfully for many years and reflects what can go on behind the scenes! The novel is full of twists and turns with a big surprise at the end.

“It should make the reader laugh, cry, and cheer.”

A sequel to ‘The Declan Diaries’, ‘Minding Maggie’ is already at first draft stage and two non-fiction books are in progress.
