Dromard Ladies GFC recently hosted ‘Ladies Night Out’ in the Breffni Arms Hotel, Arva, County Cavan. All ladies were greeted with a champagne reception and there were goody bags of skincare and make-up treats for the first 20 arrivals.
The early part of the night consisted of a talk from guest speakers Orlagh McGrane (personal trainer) and Azelia Jackson (professional makeup artist).
This was followed by a fashion show with clothing provided by Longford girl, Trina Kenny from Tee Bayazon.
The fashion show also featured beautiful headpieces from Amy Leslie’s Ballinamuck based millinery design business ‘Headstrong’.
The night finished off with a raffle and a prize for the Best Dressed Lady. Trina Kenny from Tee Bayazon selected the winner and the prize was awarded to Mary Murphy, who wore a simple but pretty “spring inspired” white lace dress with a black belt.
The event was organised as a fundraiser for the Dromard Ladies GAA club but also to promote local fashion and beauty businesses.
A great night was had by all and the hosts Dromard Ladies were delighted with the support that they received from the ladies that attended and all that donated raffle prizes.
There were displays from local fashion and beauty businesses on the night including: Headstrong Designs , Fosters Chemist, Fiona Montgomery, Womens Wants, Fiona Holloway, Deirdre Smyth, Slimming World, Breffni Arms Hotel, Azelia Jackson, MAC and Benefit, Mia Grey, and Tee Bayazon.
