Local organisation Out-take Films have announced that they are to deliver a Digital Film Production Course, starting at the end of this month.

Local organisation Out-take Films have announced that they are to deliver a Digital Film Production Course, starting at the end of this month.

The hands-on, part-time course is aimed at beginners and participants will be guided through the development of a short film from start to finish.

According to Out-take Films Chairperson, Shane Crossan, “the securing of this course represents great progress for the group, which is only in existence 14 months. The course follows on from a very successful screenwriting course delivered in November 2013 by the renowned screenwriting trainer, Lawrence Henson.”

Anyone with an interest in developing their ideas into a film project are welcome, and cameras and/or editing equipment are not obligatory to take part in the course.

The course will begin at 7pm on Tuesday, March 25 at Templemichael College, Longford and the course fee is €65.

The Digital Film Production course is open to the general public, but places are limited.
