The Backstage Theatre is preparing itself for Friday May 25 when the critically acclaimed comedy ‘Love All’ takes centre-stage.

From the Wimbledon finals to the hangman’s noose, this is the terrible and true(ish) tale of Irish sporting legend Vere St. Ledger Goold and his mercenary wife, Marie Violet. It is an extraordinary globe-trotting journey from the heady heights of sporting stardom to complete catastrophe.

According to Peter Crawley of the Irish Times it is “currently the funniest, smartest and most entertaining show on the stage.”

Emer O’Kelly referred to it as “an hour of unadulterated fun” while Entertainment.ie called it the “most enjoyable hour in the presence of two thrillingly dexterous performers”.

The electrifying new theatre company Cheery Wild have starched their whites, re-stretched their racquets and are ready to serve a virtuoso volley of Victorian melodrama. The award-winning company deliver an hilarious, rapid-fire, homicidal train ride from passion to pandemonium. ‘Love All’ comes to Backstage Theatre on Fri May 25 at 8:30pm.
