Justin McGuire from Carrickedmond competed in the Leinster final of the All-Ireland Schools Talent search competition (in aid of Childline) which took place in the Park Hotel Mullingar recently.
Justin was representing his school Ballymahon Secondary school in the Leinster Final and came up against twenty six other acts from across the region. The standard on the night was of top quality, with fourteen acts picked by the adjudicators and the voting public to go forward to the All Ireland semi finals of this competition.
At the end of the night, special guest Brian Ormond - who presented the show, announced the lucky winners, and to loud applause and cheering from the many supporters who were present to support Justin, he was named one of the lucky acts to go forward to the All-Ireland semi finals which will take place in Castlebar Co Mayo on Saturday night, February 23 next. Justin performed a piece of dancing which he choreographed himself, a piece that was enjoyed by the adjudicators and all present. Justin will be hoping for lots of support to travel to Castlebar on February 23 where the winners from this All-Ireland semi finals will go on to the National Final which will take place in the Helix, Dublin.
A bus will travel to support Justin; to book, please contact (087) 9338566 for more information.
