Padraic McIntyre, the man behind the runaway successes, ‘The Night Joe Dolan’s Car Broke Down’, ‘The Carnival at Glenaduff’ and ‘A Holy Show’ returns to the Backstage Theatre this Friday & Saturday with his new offering, ‘The Lost Weekend’.

Padraic McIntyre, the man behind the runaway successes, ‘The Night Joe Dolan’s Car Broke Down’, ‘The Carnival at Glenaduff’ and ‘A Holy Show’ returns to the Backstage Theatre this Friday & Saturday with his new offering, ‘The Lost Weekend’.

‘The Lost Weekend’ follows the story of five checkout girls who get sent away by their boss on a team-building weekend. With the play’s combination of salsa lessons and some vodka and red bull, the Backstage Theatre are promising a “cocktail of hysterical comedy just waiting to be enjoyed.”

Backstage are running a special offer for those who buy tickets for ‘The Lost Weekend’. If you book for the show you can get €2-off each ticket for one of the following shows: ‘The Sand Park’, a comedy written and performed by Seamus O Rourke; ‘One Man Star Wars Trilogy’, quoted by Spin Magazine as being “funnier than you could possibly imagine” and Conor McPhearson’s ‘Port Authority’.
