On June 10 – 12 next the Temple House Music and Arts Festival will take place near Ballymote, County Sligo. A three day music extravaganza, Temple House Festival is a boutique music and arts festival with a difference. It is situated in the stunning magical grounds of the Temple House estate. Consequently, it has a relaxed chilled out atmosphere which will captivate and enthrall all who attend.
Across four stages, some of the best acts in Ireland will come together to entertain what is sure to be a jam-packed crowd. These acts include Ash, The Walls, The Flaws, Interference, Michael Stafford, Helen Smits, Machine Gun Baby, Stereo MCs, Dave Morrissey, Aisling O’Reilly, Sanszkrit, Neptune City, BiPolar Empire, Aslan and the Hoop and many many more.
The Temple House Festival is family friendly with a range of children’s activities. Big Mama has sneaked into the walled garden and planted a magical plot especially for young festival-goers (under 12s) and their families. Big Mama’s Garden will be full of wonderful things to see and do during the award winning festival.
Kids (and adults) will be able to catch a show in the Glitter Bug Theatre, dance, juggle or make some music in the Bee Hive, get creative in the potting shed or simply relax in the lazy beds. Each day will be full of enchanting and playful activities for children.
Temple House festival-goers will be welcome to use the festival camp site from Friday at noon. There are Yurts, Bell Tents and Tipis situated in the festival grounds, as well as the usual camping options for those on a budget. The campsite will be open until Monday at noon.
