Having studied music in BIMM and is 25-years-old, Emily has been releasing songs on Spotify which are garnering attention.

The half an hour set was enough for Emily to show her talents to those who attended the weekend. Having said previously that she chose to approach the performance like many others to not be overwhelmed, Emily has contributed to why Longford is a county with plenty of talent.

In response to the experience, Emily took a moment to give an opinion on how the opportunity was for her:

“Getting to perform at Electric Picnic was an amazing experience, from the whole build up to the actual performance day, there was so much excitement around it all.

The entire City Stages experience was incredible. I’ve been given some amazing opportunities over the last couple of weeks.

I got to perform in the Electric Arena alongside ‘Biig Piig’, as well as my own performance on the 3 stage.

It’s been lovely to get so much support over the last few weeks, I’m very grateful to everyone who came to watch me perform or sent a message to wish me good luck.

I’m excited to see what the future holds for my music career. For anyone who couldn’t make it to the Electric Picnic gig, I’ll be playing again on the 5th of September in Drumshanbo Methodist Church.”

Her song 'St Giles' was released in January 2025, and 'By Your Side' was released this year as well.

Playing piano and guitar, Emily's musical talents are proving to be a hit with the listeners.
