Father-of-five Jimmy Rowe died after his car veered off the N17 during powerful winds on Sunday

THE victim of a fatal road crash in county Mayo during Storm Isha has been named as father-of-five Jimmy Rowe.

Mr Rowe died after his car veered off the N17 during powerful winds on Sunday.

He was aged in his 40s and lived with his partner in Kilcloghans, outside Tuam in Co Galway, where he had been working for a number of years.
