Service station and energy company, Corrib Oil, has announced today their plans to expand to 100 stores nationwide, set to create 1,200 jobs over the next five years.

The company, which currently operates 38 stores throughout Ireland, hopes to more than double this figure, in the time period given.

Aiming to deliver at least four new service stations this year alone, they are already off to a great start as the first is already set to open this month on Model Road in Co Cork. This will create 30 new jobs.

Founded in 1987 by the Dalton family in Claremorris, Co Mayo, Corrib Oil initially had a team of eight, since then, they have evolved into a formidable entity, comprising of 38 service stations, 20 depots, and approximately 1,300 employees spread across their Retail and Oil division.
