Euphoria star Angus Cloud has passed away at 25

ANGUS Cloud has passed away at twenty-five years old at his family home in Oakland California.

US site TMZ has reported that the cause of death is unknown and the police are now launching a full investigation.

A week previous to this Cloud had buried his father in Dublin and a family source close to TMZ reported he had been ‘struggling’ upon his return to America.

The family source went on to tell TMZ; “It is with the heaviest heart that we had to say goodbye to an incredible human today. As an artist, a friend, a brother and a son, Angus was special to all of us in so many ways."

They continue; "Last week he buried his father and intensely struggled with this loss. The only comfort we have is knowing Angus is now reunited with his dad, who was his best friend. Angus was open about his battle with mental health and we hope that his passing can be a reminder to others that they are not alone and should not fight this on their own in silence.We hope the world remembers him for his humour, laughter and love for everyone. We ask for privacy at this time as we are still processing this devastating loss."

The actor had grown to success for his role as Fezco in the hit HBO television series Euphoria alongside Zendaya, Jacob Elordi and Alexa Demie.

Despite studying behind the scenes with a degree in Technical Theatre, Cloud shocked fans with his performances despite never acting professionally before. 

The actor planned to move to Ireland where his family are from and many still live but was scouted by Euphoria's casting producer.
