The 2018 Ganly's Longford Sport Star Awards, in association with Longford Sports Partnership and the Longford Leader, were presented last Friday night in the Rustic Inn, Abbeyshrule and pictured are award winners and sponsors. The brilliant Longford Pony Club quartet of Rebecca Yorke (Ardagh), Edel Whyte (Legan), Rebecca Lyons (Melview) and Aisling McGreal (Ballinalee), were crowned Overall Sports Star of the Year at the 2018 Ganly’s Longford Sports Star Awards, in association with Longford Sports Partnership and the Longford Leader.
Sport Ireland CEO John Treacy was the special guest on the night and he also launched the Longford Sports Partnership Strategy 2018 - 2022.
