Center Parcs Longford Forest unveils details of its stunning Aqua Sana Spa

2,500 square-metres of spa experiences and treatment rooms make Aqua Sana Longford Forest Ireland’s largest stand-alone spa

Center Parcs Longford Forest Resort is inching closer and closer to its summer 2019 opening date and new details of the resort are being revealed on a regular basis.

And, perhaps one of the most exciting parts of the resort - for the adults anyway - is the Aqua Sana Spa, which is set to bring an unparalleled spa experience to Ireland when it opens this summer.

Set within the 400-acre Center Parcs Longford Forest resort, Aqua Sana will integrate a unique forest concept, taking inspiration from its own forest setting, as well as some of the most spectacular natural environments around the world - from the icy Nordic landscapes to the high-altitude Chilean Arenal forest - to immerse guests in the relaxing and re-energising powers of nature.

In addition to the spa’s unique forest theme being unveiled today, the Aqua Sana website is also live, meaning spa lovers across Ireland can now book their first visit to the spa at What’s more, the experience is available to both day and overnight visitors to the spa, as well as being a childfree space for guests of the Center Parcs resort.

In keeping with the forest theme, the spa will offer 21 hot, cold, herbal and meditative experiences across four zones - Nordic Forest, Hot Springs, Volcanic Forest and Treetop Nesting. From saunas to outdoor hot tubs to rainforest showers and reflexology footbaths, Aqua Sana is set to be the ultimate escape.

The Nordic Forest will comprise a range of experiences including an invigorating Ice Cave aimed at boosting circulation, the Alpine Steam room, which incorporates rose essence and amethyst crystal, and the Forest Rain Walk, complete with different scents, sounds and temperatures. While the Hot Springs will include a Salt Steam Room, Waterfall Showers and two outdoor hot tubs where guests can enjoy breathing in the fresh Longford Forest air.

Next up, is the Volcanic Forest where guests will snuggle up and cocoon themselves while listening to the calming sounds of a crackling, cosy fire or enjoy the soothing heat of the Lave Sauna and Volcanic Steam rooms. Finally, Treetop Nesting will offer guests a range of experiences where they can embrace the revitalising power of nature, whether that be in the heated loungers among the tree tops or on a heavenly water bed.

Furthermore, Aqua Sana’s Forest Spa will also boast some 14 treatment rooms where sublime VOYA and Elemis face and body treatments will be provided by Aqua Sana’s leading therapists. From seaweed scrubs to organic facials, the treatments available at Aqua Sana will refresh your body and bring out your natural beauty.

Measuring over 2,500 square-metres and costing €10 million, Aqua Sana Longford Forest is set to be Ireland’s largest stand-alone spa and is open for booking to guests staying at Center Parcs Longford Forest from this summer and to spa day guests from September 6th. Day spa packages start from €55 per person with the option to add refreshments, treatments, afternoon tea or a meal at Vitalé Café Bar so that guests can choose their ideal day, and if you fancy a night away, Aqua Sana will also offer a luxury spa break package with relaxing overnight stay in a beautifully located Lakeside Apartment.

Kay Pennington, Aqua Sana Group Spa Manager, commented on the announcement: “We are delighted to launch the bookings for Aqua Sana in Ireland and reveal the exciting details of what is to come to our Forest Spa. We’ve undertaken careful research of wellness trends to develop our unique spa offering in Longford Forest and look forward to welcoming guests to Aqua Sana so that they can experience the forest and its revitalising powers in our beautiful setting very soon!”
