PICTURES | Longford schools deliver top class projects at BT Young Scientist & Technologist Exhibition

Longford had no shortage of projects on display at last week's BT Young Scientist & Technologist Exhibition, writes Jessica Thompson.

In fact, four of the seven Longford projects brought home awards for their schools.

Conor Lyons (13) from Lanesboro Community College entered his project ‘The cost of playing for the club: A statistical analysis of time and money spent by GAA Senior Club players’ for which he won the Junior Individual 2nd Place prize in the Social and Behavioural category.

Lanesboro Community College also brought home two Highly Commended Awards, with another Highly Commended Award going to Moyne Community School.
