Longford family wins €50,000 on a Lanesboro-bought scratch card
New tractor to be family's first purchase with winnings
Longford has had some success with the National Lottery this week, with one family claiming €50,000 in winnings off a scratch card.
The lucky wife in the family bought her prize-winning 'Congratulations' scratch card in SuperValu, Lanesboro.
The family are thrilled with their winnings and can't wait to make their first purchase: a brand new tractor for the family farm.
Jubilant celebrations (pictured) were held in-store following the reveal of the big win by the team at SuperValu in Lanesboro this week.
Galway also enjoyed success, with a father and daughter picking up a cheque for €30,000 this week.
If any other Longfordians are feeling lucky, tonight’s Lotto Jackpot is an estimated €10 million. Play in store, on the National Lottery App or online by 7.45pm this evening for a chance to win riches beyond your wildest dreams.
And playing National Lottery funds good causes across Ireland. To date the National Lottery has raised over €4.9 billion for good causes.
This level of funding has made a significant difference to communities, projects and individuals in the areas of Youth, Sports, Recreation, Amenities, Health, Welfare, Arts, Culture, National Heritage and the Irish Language.
