First day at the big school for little Longford scholar Samuel

Little Samuel Igoe was all smiles as he began his first day at school this week.

The five-year-old started Junior Infants at Melview National School, marking an exciting new chapter as he took those all important steps into school life.

As you can see from this adorable photo taken by mum Linda, Samuel was ready to hit the ground running for his first day in the classroom and excited for his big day.
