Longford will learn from defeat - Ryan

The Longford manager was bitterly disappointed with Saturday evening's result.

Glenn Ryan said Longford played into Kerry's hands in the first half by

not spreading the ball wide in attack. When they did he said it caused Kerry all sorts of trouble and that's what allowed his side to get to within four points of the Kingdom at the end.

As for the impact of the result on his players, Glenn Ryan believes

Longford must learn from this defeat, and if they do they will become

better players for it.

He spoke to Fintan Duffy after Saturday's game.
