Kenagh GAA to officially open walking track

The official opening of Kenagh GAA’s new floodlit walking track will take place this Sunday, October 28th, at 1pm. There will be various family events on the day such as tug-o-war beginning at 2:30pm, bouncing castles, smaller games for kids (egg and spoon race etc), Wellie throwing, horse shoe throwing, face painting for kids, fancy dress, best halloween costume, music, pushing tyre on track (100m fastest time), penalty shootout, balloons for kids, throwing the sheave and shot putt. There will also be refershments available. There will be a presentation of medals to the club’s underage teams by All-Star nominee Michael Quinn. Family admission is r10 which includes admission to all activities.

The club are holding a function in Gav’s bar on the night of October 28th from 9:30pm. Fancy dress is optional and there will be a prize for the best outfit. Admission will be r5 which entitles you to entry for a prize. We are hoping to see a big crowd at both events so please spread the word and make the effort to come down to what should be a brilliant day and night.
