St. Mel’s out of the Leinster Colleges SF Championship

St. Mel’s crashed out of the Leinster Colleges Senior ‘A’ Football Championship when they let a comfortable lead of seven points slip against the title holders Dundalk Colleges in the second round tie at the Clonguish GAA grounds on Friday.
The visitors trailed by 0-7 to 0-0 at the break, after playing against the strong wind in the first half, but came storming back on the changeover to eventually win by a single point thanks to a crucial goal in the 39th minute which changed the course of the game.
