Longford Slashers . . . . . . 0-18 Sean Connolly’s . . . . . . . 0-4

Title holders Longford Slashers made light work of Sean Connolly’s in their opening game in this year’s Senior Football championship at Emmet Park, Killoe on Sunday evening.

It was a game that Slashers were in control of from start to finish and they should have won by more but kicked a number of scorable wides.
