Moyne Community School cruised to a comprehensive victory over Tullamore College in Round 3 of the North Leinster Post-Primary Schools U-14 ‘B’ Football Championship at the St. Loman’s GAA grounds, Mullingar on Tuesday of last week.

With the advantage of the strong wind, Moyne completely dominated the first half with Mark Hughes and Tristan Noack Hoffman particularly prominent in attack as their side established a commanding 13 points lead at the break despite conceding a goal.

Tullamore tried hard to close the gap and scored 1-1 in the early stages of the second half but they were always fighting a losing battle as Moyne consolidated their firm grip on the game thanks to a third goal through Mark Hughes in the 41st minute.
With ten minutes remaining, Moyne put the issue beyond any doubt when Tristan Noack Hoffman planted the ball in the top corner of the Tullamore net.

MOYNE CS: Paddy Collum, Niall McGee, James Heslin, Darragh O’Brien, Finbar McAvinue, Peter Gallagher, Tristan Noack Hoffmann, Ciaran McKeon, Joseph Hagan, Mark Hughes, Dylan McCormack, Alan McKeon, Paul Langtry, Eamon Keogh.
