Longford squad for Meath O’Byrne Cup clash revealed

Longford manager Glenn Ryan has released details of the squad that will face Meath in the first round of the O’Byrne Cup at Leo Casey Park in Ballymahon on Sunday.

Longford starting XV: Paddy Columb (Fr. Manning Gaels); Peter Foy (Cashel), Barry Gilleran (Longford Slashers), Fergal Battrim (Abbeylara); Shane Mulligan (Mullinalaghta St. Columba’s), Kevin Diffley (Ballymahon), Colm P Smyth (Abbeylara); John Keegan (Mullinalaghta St. Columba’s), Michael Brady (Longford Slashers); Shane Doyle (Kenagh), Aidan Rowan (Cashel), John Paul Reilly (Colmcille); Enda Dalton (St. Judes, Dublin), Donal McElligott (Mullinalaghta St. Columba’s), Francis McGee (Dromard).

Subs: Dermot Brady (Longford Slashers), Sean McCormack (Killoe Young Emmets), Conor Quaine (Legan Sarsfields), Mark Duffy (Fr. Manning Gaels), JJ Matthews (Mullinalaghta St. Columba’s), Bernard McElvaney (Ballymore), Paul Kelly (Longford Slashers), Barry O’Farrell (Carrickedmond), Padraig McCormack (Killoe Young Emmets), Barry McKeon (Colmcille), Robbie Smyth (Abbeylara).

Ryan is without the services of Paul and David Barden, Paul Kelly, Declan Reilly and Niall Mulligan through injury, while Brian Kavanagh has taken a leave of absence for the year.
