The Longford Leader will be providing live text commentary for online and mobile users this Sunday, as Longford Slashers and Emmet Og face-off in the Longford senior football final.

In one of the most eagerly-anticipated finals of recent years, Denis Connerton’s Slashers side will be looking to create history by retaining the Connolly Cup for the third year running, while Emmet Og will be looking to end a 17-year wait to reclaim the Championship crown - they last won it in 1995 under Tommy McCormack, who is once again managing the side.
