Jackpot: 3,400. euro On Saturday 3rd November last we held a Cardiac Screening service in the Clubhouse, Monaduff. The service was open to everyone in the parish and approx 50 people availed of the service. With cases of Sudden Death Syndrome on the rise especially among sporting people to have a service like this available to our club members could prove invaluable. Thank you to those who carried out the screening and Bridie Reilly for organising. The draws for the 2013 Senior and Intermediate Football Championships were made at the November County Board meeting and the Gaels were handed a first round tie with Abbeylara. In a significant change to the championship format in 2013, three clubs will be relegated to leave 10 teams competing for the Connolly Cup in 2014 (including the promoted Intermediate champions in 2013) and thus the pressure will immediately be on those teams who lose their opening round fixtures. The U-21 A Championship final between Fr. Manning Gaels and Emmet Og, Killoe has been set for Sunday December 9th in Maguire Park, Ballinalee.
