Ballymahon Secondary bow out of the Leinster Championship

Reigning All-Ireland champions Gallen CS, Ferbane eventually asserted their superiority over a spirited Ballymahon SS side in the Leinster Vocational Schools Senior ‘A’ Football Championship quarter-final played at the Ballymahon Secondary Schools grounds on Saturday with the comfortable margin of nine points separating the sides in the finish.

The other Leinster Vocational Schools Senior Football Championship quarter-final between Cnoc Mhuire, Granard and Maynooth Post-Primary was postponed and has been provisionally refixed for Tuesday February 21st at a Maynooth venue.
