The National Football League gets underway this weekend and for Longford there's a trip to Dr Cullen Park in Carlow for the opening game.
This Division 4 campaign sees Limerick and Wicklow as the two teams that will be favourites to come out on top.
But there's also Longford and Leitrim to consider, and both sides will be desperate to get themselves into Division 3 football for next season.
For a look ahead to the upcoming league season, the Leader's Fintan Duffy has been speaking to Longford County Board PRO John Duffy.
