GAA: Gowna GAA Club are hosting the latest play by Seamus O’Rourke, ‘To club or county’. A hilarious funny and witty play. Where Matt the Maestro is manager of a football team who reach the Co Final after many years but there are many twists in the tale in the build up to the game in Ballinagh Community Centre on Saturday 1st December commencing at 8.30pm. Admission 10 euro. Ballinagh is a popular venue for Seamus and his production team having large attendance at their previous performance. Your support would be much appreciated by the club. A good night of entertainment guaranteed.

AGM: Loch Gowna under age AGM will take place this Friday night 30th November at 7.45 in the community centre. All committee members are requested to attend and new ones very welcome.

MULLAHORAN LADIES GAA: Mullahoran ladies GAA are holding a craft and gift fare in Mullahoran Parochial Hall on Sunday December 1st from 11am to 4pm. Anyone interested in setting up a stand/stall please contact Pat on 087 249118.

HEALING SERVICE: Healing service will take place in Loch Gowna Church of Ireland on Sunday 2nd December at 3.30pm.Everyone is invited to come along.

WEDDING BELLS: Heartiest congratulations are extended to Fidelma Brady Corfree Loch Gowna and Paul Galligan son of Kevin and Kitty Galligan Ballinagh who were united in the ceremony of matrimony in the Church of Holy Family Loch Gowna on Friday 16th November by Fr PJ Fitzpatrick. The bride was given in marriage by her father attended by bridesmaids Deirdre Brady and Nichola Smith. Best man Kevin Galligan, groomsman Michael Dunne. To celebrate the occasion a very enjoyable reception was held in Lough Rynn Castle Hotel, Co Leitrim. We wish Fidelma and Paul many years of health and happiness in their married life together.

CHRISTMAS PARTY: Loch Gowna Active Age annual Christmas party on Sunday 9th December in the Pikers Lodge Hotel at 4pm. If anyone in the parish did not get their invitation or anyone who would like to attend. Please come along you will be every welcome. A great night of music, song and craic and Santa will visit. A collection in aid of the party will take place this Sunday 2nd December following 11am Mass.
