GUN CLUB: Ballinalee/Killoe Gun Club hold their pheasant competition in the Stags head on Sat 3rd. Results were longest pheasant Gerry Reynolds, longest club pheasant James Farrell. Best weight David Reynolds. Best coloured Trevor Martin, longest spur Daniel Collum. There were 23 birds on the night and many thanks to all who supported.

HILLSIDE CLUB: The bus was almost full as we travelled to Ireland’s tidiest village, Abbeyshrule on Wed last. A great day was had by all. Sincere thanks to all at the Rustic Inn where a beautiful meal was served and enjoyed by all. A great evenings entertainment followed. Thanks to Michael Brady who supplied the music and to all who sang and danced. A sincere thanks to our bus driver Damien Reilly. The next club day is Wednesday Nov 21st. Margaret Brady’s team is on duty. More dates for members of the Hillside Club. The club is taking part in the Christmas Fair in Currycahill Hall next Saturday. Each member will donate an item for which they are at present making preparation , knitting, baking art and so on. The money raised from the sale will be put back in the club. Time of sale 12-3pm.
