A monster truck run which took place in Longford town at the weekend is expected to raise thousands of euro for local charities.
Longford’s Finest Truck Run was a fundraiser for Irish Autism Action and Longford Hospice Home Care.
“It was great and while we don’t know how much was raised yet - there is still money coming in - 140 lorries participated, so we are delighted,” Norman Hall, organising committee said. “There was lots of entertainment on the day and the kids had a great time as well.”
The Truck Run travelled out to Bunlahy where the evening event was held in Creegan’s Bar and a great time had by all.
