AIT Talk: Ms. Mary Collins from AIT will be visiting our school on Wednesday 13th March to talk to Senior Level students and PLC students about Business courses available in AIT.
Cyber Bullying Workshop: A Cyber Bullying Workshop for parents and teachers is taking place on 13th of March at 3:15 pm in Templemichael College. This workshop will deal with internet safety, online bullying and ways in which to stay safe online. All parents welcome.
County Leitrim Enterprise Open Day: County Leitrim Enterprise Open Day took place in the Bush Hotel, Carrick- On –Shannon on Friday last the 8th March. Templemichael College representatives were present on the day to offer full information on all PLC course available. A large crowd attended this annual event. Templemichael College was represented by Ms. Maura Greene-Casey who is the PLC co-ordinator in the college.
Mock Interviews: 4th year students are preparing for their mock interviews which will take place next. Personnel from Abbott will visit the school to carry out the mock interviews. This excellent link provides Templemichael students with great expertise and skills.
Seachtain na Gaeilge: 4ú – 17ú Márta. Tá Seachtain na Gaeilge á cheiliúradh againn sa scoil . Tá a lán imeachtaí eagraithe ag na múinteoirí Gaeilge. Beidh Tráth na gCeist agus Lá Glas againn ar an gCéadaoin. Tá Comórtas Ealaíona ar siúl freisin. Beidh go leor bronntanais ar fáil do na buaiteoirí. Bainigí taitneamh as na himeachtaí go leír. “Tír gan teanga , tír gan anam.”
Aerial Gymnastics: The Schools’ Aerial Project took place in the Backstage Theatre on the 4th of March @ 8pm and on the 5th of March @12 noon and 8pm. Students from Templemicheal College, Elphin Community College and Ardscoil Phádraig performed excellently under the expert training of Fidget Feet Aerial Dance Theatre Company. The show was very well supported and we hope all those who attended enjoyed the performance.
Farewell and Welcome Back: We would like to say a fond farewell to Ms. Ceara Skally who was teaching in Templemichael since September. We wish to thank her for her dedication and kindness to us. We enjoyed all the lovely dishes that we created in the Home Economics department under her guidance. We would like to welcome Ms. Jones back after her maternity leave. We are delighted that she has returned to the staff.
