Bressie and Roz Purcell use Longford service to ship their tri bikes to Ironman race

Celebrity couple Niall Breslin and Rozanna Purcell, better known as Bressie and Roz, have both just completed the gruelling half Ironman in Austria and both admit it wouldn’t have been easy without the help of Longford service Ship my Tri Bike.

Celebrity couple Niall Breslin and Rozanna Purcell, better known as Bressie and Roz, have both just completed the gruelling half Ironman in Austria and both admit it wouldn’t have been easy without the help of Longford service Ship my Tri Bike.

Ship my Tri Bike provides a unique service transporting bicycles for athletes competing in European races.

Run by David and Mark Sheridan from Shroid, the company collect bikes all across Ireland and the UK, delivering them fully assembled to the race. Once the athlete has completed the race, they will return their bicycle to the Sheridan lads who will ferry it home.

Tweeting about the service Bressie said “Without these guys I’d be in an Austrian prison. @shipmytribike. Incredible.”

Roz also took to Twitter to thank them for their service and racing advice. “Thanks to everyone who helped me this far/ my swimming coach @shipmytribike now to eat pasta.”

Mark also completed his first half Ironman race that day, finishing in excellent time before returning to tend to the bicycles.

The entire Ship my Tri Bike team David, Mark and Ciara, took part in TriAthy triathlon in Kildare on Saturday with David finishing an impressive third place in the double olympic distance.
