In what was a superb team performance Dylan Reilly, Ronan Sheahan, Brian Farrell and Ronan Kenny put in excellent performances.

SFAI U-13 CUP

Camlin United went out to Salthill Devon on a 4-2 scoreline after extra-time. Camlin will feel they left this one behind them as for long periods they dominated the play with Davidson Moses and Jeremiah Idaho outstanding. However Salthill soaked up a lot of pressure and won the game with two late goals in the second half of extra-time. Camlin had the ideal start when Jamie Fitzgerald give them the lead after five minutes. The Galway side were level ten minutes later and in front at the break. The second half saw Camlin take control with Moses and Idahor teasing the visitors defence. James Finn had an excellent game while Jake Neary hit the upright and the keeper made a good save to keep out a Fitzgerald effort. Camlin levelled when Moses raced on to a Kyle Quinn clearance to score. Home keeper Monaghan dived at the feet of an inrushing forward to keep his side in the contest. Extra-time again saw Camlin in control but the goal just would not come, then with six minutes to go Salthill got the break and made it 3-2 and their fourth goal came in the last minute.

SFAI U-15 CUP

Melview made it to the last 32 for the second year in succession when they beat Salthill Devon 6-4 at Abbeycartron. Salthill scored a late goal but this was a comfortable win for the Longford side. Manager Gerry  Maloney coaxed the very best from his charges and from once Peter Lynn put them in front after ten minutes Melview played with a style and swagger that the Galway side wound not master. Joe Kelly, Ben Ryan and Lynn got a brace of goals apiece. Ronan Healy, Stephen Farrell and Eddie McLoughlin made telling contributions. Kildare side Naas Schoolboys away for Melview in the next round.

Inter League U-13

The Midland League were the visitors to Abbeycartron on Sunday for a friendly. The teams played three 25 minute periods and it was the Midland side who emerged winners by 5-1.  Longford used over twenty players and the Camlin players were not available as they were playing a SFAI CUP game so it was a useful work out. Players from twelve clubs were used and Oisin McLoughlin scored the Longford goal.

U-17 League

Leading 2-1 at half-time Abbey Rovers pulled away in the second half to easily beat Gaels United 7-2. With Conor Gaffney bossing midfield and weighting in with a pair of goals Abbey looked a slick outfit. U-12 League

Ballyboro beat CSA 3-2 at Abbeycartron. Owen Diffley with a header and the alert Liam Ormsby with two were on target for Ballyboro. Murphy got two goals for Gaels, one from the penalty spot, while Dunka was the other scorer. Williams, Kelly and Garvey scored for Mostrim.

U-14 League

Ballyboro beat Mostrim 4-1 at the Mall. Gary Galvin scored twice and Tom Farrell and Stephen Walsh once as Ballyboro chalked up an impressive win. Daniel Foley and Cillian Lee played well for the winners.

CSA defeated Killoe Celtic 2-0 at Drumlish on Saturday morning. CSA played an excellent brand of football and their winning margin would have been greater but for some great goal keeping by Bernard Boland. Conor Macklin and Gerard Reynolds netted for CSA. UCL Panthers were impressive in disposing of Gaelscoil. Cormac Brady was a handful for the Gaelscoil defence while Joe Reilly also got his name on the scoresheet. Sean Morgan was best for Gaelscoil. Melview and Erne Valley Rovers finished 2-2 at Neary Park. Dara Madden set up Cormac Gilligan for the opening goal. James Bright equalised for Melview just after the break. Declan Reilly for Erne Valley and Michael Mulcahy for Melview scored goals before the end.  Ballymahon Tigers and UCL Leopards played a 1-1 draw. Ben Hudson scored for Tigers while Conor Casey replied for Leopards. Defences were on top in the Ardagh United v Abbey Rovers game which ended in a scoreless draw. Sean Hogan and Daniel Quinn played well for Ardagh while Ryan Smith and Paul Moran impressed for Rovers.

U-9 League
