The talented ladies from the Kenagh Crochet Academy recently donated a number of blankets to the Féileacáin charity.
Pictured during the final night of the Kenagh Crochet Academy for the summer were Yvonne Hegarty, Heather Tormey, Eileen Barry, Sharon Halse, Bernie Walsh, Sheila McGarry, Debbie Murphy from Féileacáin, Amanda Harkan, Eileen Clarke and Marie Kearns.
The group runs weekly from October to June and caters for all levels of experience, from beginner to expert.
The group also made contact with Féileacáin, the Stillbirth and Neonatal Death Association of Ireland.
They are a charity who provide Memory Boxes to the Neo Natal and Still Born departments in hospitals throughout the country.
These thoughtful memory boxes contain a disposable camera to take precious photographs, an ink pad to make hand and foot impressions and a beautiful crochet white blanket.
The Academy donated a large amount of blankets for this fantastic cause following the recent summer session.
