Sports Day

Man Scoil Mhuire would like to thank Peter O'Reilly and all the staff and management of Pearse Park for the use of its excellent facilities during our recent sports day. As a token of our appreciation to Pearse Park the school is making a donation of €150 to the local hospice.

Play

This week the transition years were busy preparing for the Scoil Mhuire debut of their play "Perfect".The production was an outstanding success and enjoyed by all students on the day. A special thanks also to Mrs O'Brien for all her hard work in making the play such a wonderful success!

annual Graduation Mass

This year the Grad Mass was held in the Temperance Hall on the 24th of May at 9.00. along with refreshments afterwards in the school. All parents are welcome to attend and it is sure to a very enjoyable for all. The leaving cert students would also wish to thank the religion teachers for all the time and effort they have dedicated over the past few weeks to organising such wonderful evening.

awards Night

The T.Y's had a very successful awards night. All of their work throughout the year was display and awards were given to all the girls who successfully completed the year. Congratulations to Alison Trueick who was awarded T.Y. student of the year. The transition year student would also like to thank the T.Y. co-ordinators for making the year so enjoyable and one they will never forget.

Achievements Night

A great night was had by all on Thursday night at the awards night. Any student who had contributed towards activities within the school received awards. There was a great attendance by parents and students alike.

We would like to thank Geraldine Naughten who was guest speaker on the night, who gave a wonderfully inspirational and humorous speech. Also on the night the nominees for student of the year were announced. The girls nominated were Emma Kiernan, Rachel Coyle, Gemma Kenny, and Tara Quinn, and the overall winner will be announced at the graduation mass on Monday. Congratulations girls and best of luck!
