Recent Wedding: Congratulations to Jacinta Beirne, North Yard, Scramogue and James Challis who were married on Sunday 28th August in St. Peter and Paul's Church, Foxford.

The reception was held in Mount Falcon Estate, Ballina. The Celebrant was Fr. Eamon O Connor, PP Whitehall/Scramogue. Bridesmaids were Aine Campbell and Martina Willis. Bestmen were Ben Cooper and Jamie Franklin. Flower girl was Caoimhe Campbell and Page Boy was Callum Challis. We wish Jacinta and James the very best for the future.

Kilglass Gaels

We wish all our neighbours in Kilglass Parish the very best of luck in Kelloggs Field of Dreams Competition. Kilglass Gaels must be congratulated on winning the Provincial final. They are now one of four clubs in the country that could win a 100,000 euro makeover for their grounds if they lift the National title. Scramogue Church reopens

Scramogue Church reopened on Sunday last. The work done in the Church grounds is fantastic, Tarmacking, kerbing, water diverted from around Church and Statues newly painted inside Church means that our Church and Church grounds look really well. The clipped lawns,Grotto and overall appearance makes a huge difference. Well done to all involved in the work.

Adoration will take place in St. Anne's Church, Scramogue on the First Friday of every month from 7.30pm and 8.30pm.

Strokestown and Elphin Shows take place shortly

Elphin Show takes place this Saturday 4th September Strokestown Show takes place on Saturday and Sunday 11th and 12th September. The Show launch took place in Percy French Hotel on Friday night last.
